Why should we care about good teachers?
In all honesty, I can understand some people’s sentiments and confusion on why I’m making such a big deal about this. This really just came as a random thought for a blog post, but interested me regardless.
The idea that through one’s charisma and style of teaching, one can transform even the most stubborn of students into inquisitive and curious learners intrigued me. Good teachers are truly, from my experience anyway, really hard to come by and thus should be appreciated greatly. Without good educators, it could be plausible to say society would no longer be able to function as well, without knowledge being able to pass down from one generation to the next as easily and smoothly. It is through sheer motivation and curiosity that humanity has advanced this far, and I will argue that it is because of exceptional teachers that curiosity has been instilled into us.
